Associate Professor Afsin Uysal

He was born in 1971 in Ankara. He completed his primary education in Ankara Sofuoğlu Primary School between 1976-1981. He graduated from TED Ankara College Middle Department in 1985 and from TED Ankara College High School Department in 1988. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and received the title of Medical Doctor. In the same year, he started his specialization in Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He received his specialization in December 2000. He received the title of "Associate Professor" in December 2007 and "Hand Surgery Minor Specialist" in April 2011. In 2012, he received the title of "Oral, Face and Maxillofacial Surgery Major". In May 2002 and October 2002, he participated in International Interplast events in Kazakhstan, Almaty, Shymkent, Yesi and Kentav. He studied microsurgery at the University of Zurich in March 2007, Japan in April 2007, He was a visiting fellow at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo. He participated in many national and international congresses, symposiums and workshops. He has 45 international publications (SCI and SCI-E), 17 national publications. He had 35 works in Turkey and 24 abroad as oral presentations, poster presentations, and panel presentations. He has been the referee of national and international scientific publications. He is married and has two children. He has a good command of English.
